Our Reception Puffins have shown great curiosity and enthusiasm already towards their new topic this half term - 'I do like to be beside the seaside'. The Lighthouse Keeper stories have been a fantastic way to find out about the geographical features of our beautiful Northumberland coastline and have also introduced the children to lighthouses. The Puffins worked with resilience and commitment when challenged with getting Mr Grinling's lunch from the cottage on the cliff to the lighthouse out at sea.
The Puffins have also been enjoying the sunshine this week whilst working on their skills for the upcoming sports day. It was great to see such fantastic teamwork and encouragement from some sports stars in the making!
