Year 5 had an exciting week last week as they took part in their first tennis session with Newcastle Foundation, who will be delivering fun sporting sessions in school over the next five weeks.
Back in the classroom, pupils got on their science hats to test a variety of materials to discover if they were soluble or insoluble. Our mini scientists tested various household items such as flour, sugar and salt to see if they would dissolve before trying out copper sulphate. The children enjoyed how the water changed colour to bright blue as the substance dissolved in water.
