Our Year 6 Owls have had a great week in school, making a fantastic start to the half term. In music lessons, the group have been learning to play the keyboard and Mrs Henderson is very impressed with their progress. The musical fun continued in their PE lessons as the class created routines made up of clapping, jumping and clicking.

The Owls also began a new science topic this week and are really looking forward to completing a dissection next week.

With Remembrance Day approaching, Year 6 have been looking at why we wear poppies. Working together, the group made their own wealth and four pupils will be reading the poem 'In Flanders Fields' at the local Remembrance service in Bedlington at the weekend.

We topped off the week with some fun games of bingo to help aid the children's times tables skills. Great work everyone, keep it up!
