Our Year 5 Merlins have had another great week. let's see what they've been up to.
To mark Black History Month, the class have been learning about famous British black people in their English reading lessons. The class were very shocked to hear that slavery existed in the UK and not just in America.
From English to French, the class took part in a survey in French to ask each other their opinions on football. It proved to be a very popular topic among our Year 5s.
The Merlins ended their week by learning what everyday life was like in the Shang Dynasty. They worked in small groups to find out information before presenting the information to the rest of the class. Great teamwork!
